| | Tuner Kit, 2001 4V Mustang Cobra w/V-2 SCi-Trim & Cooler, SatinDescription Tuner kits are available to boost your 1999 or 2001 Mustang Cobra up to 725HP (SCi-Trim) or 775HP (E-Trim) depending on your modifications and custom tuning (tuner kits do not include fuel management upgrades or programming). Complete systems have been discontinued and are no longer available. These systems include the choice of the V-2/V-3 Si-Trim with nearly silent helical cut gear set, or the V-1 T-Trim compressor capable of up to 825 HP (depending on your modifications and custom tuning). Whether it is your daily driver or weekend track warrior, Vortech has a supercharger kit for you. Vortech's centrifugal supercharger kits feature lightweight aluminum impellers that are heat-treated and high-speed balanced to ensure balanced operation. An O-ring compressor housing seal and an innovative impeller seal improve sealing and reduce friction. Vortech has taken away the hassles of building a custom kit by engineering these kits to have a true OEM-quality fit and finish. Each kit is 100 percent complete, right down to the wire zip ties. Many kits include a matched compressor supercharger unit with SQ technology for "Super Quiet" operation or self contained V-3 Units. A high-flow air intake system with a reusable air filter, heat-resistant silicone hose couplings, and premium-grade flex hose is included. System Components and Features: ·Technologically advanced, high-efficiency impeller and housing design developed in our SAE J1723 compliant supercharger test cell. ·Complete systems include a fuel management upgrade with a high-flow fuel pump and fuel management unit (FMU). ·Billet aluminum supercharger mounting bracket assembly includes idler, drive belt and all hardware. ·Inlet and discharge duct connections utilize heat resistant silicon sleeves and premium quality stainless steel clamps. ·High-flow bypass valve provides for surge-free compressor operation. ·Complete bolt-on system including all necessary belts, pulleys and reusable high-flow air filter. Warranty Information: 1-Year Supercharger Limited Warranty Included with all superchargers except race/heavy-duty models. 3-Year Supercharger Limited Warranty Included with engine-oil-fed superchargers if purchased as part of a complete street-legal system.
